Bishop George Sumner made his last visit to St. Justin’s before his retirement on February 2
Thirty people came to worship on February 2 to be inspired by the words of Bishop George Sumner as he and his wife made their final visit to our parish before his retirement. The service featured two confirmations and three receptions. At a post-service gathering, parishioners were able to show their appreciation for his years of faithful service while enjoying a delicious spread of food which included Father Marc’s smoked meats and wife Elizabeth’s legendary carrot cake followed by a question and answer time with the Bishop. You can listen to the sermon here.
